How To Buy KTM Train To JB Ticket Online (Mobile App)
Here is the best guide to booking your KTM ticket from Singapore to JB Sentral.
While many will advise booking KTM tickets at the KTM counter, we do not recommend this.
The counters will have limited tickets with long waiting queues.
Instead, you should download the KTM Integrated Ticket System app, also known as KITS!
Read on for our step-by-step guide for a smooth KTM ticket purchase.
Step 1: Download the KTMB Mobile App
The KTMB Mobile app is available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery. Email and passport numbers are required when you register an account.
Step 2: Book a Ticket via the Shuttle Tebrau option
When you enter the homepage:
- Choose the 3rd tab (located on the rightmost side) that says Shuttle Tebrau
- Click Woodlands CIQ at the Origin drop-down list
- Pick JB Sentral at the Destination drop-down list
- Fill in the number of passengers in your group and your selected date
Step 3: Select Departure Timing
The app will showcase a timetable with a list of available times. If your preferred time slot is unavailable, you can select other available dates.
Step 4: Input Passenger Details
Fill up the necessary passenger details accordingly. Please ensure the information is accurate.
Step: 5: Make payment via Debit/Credit Cards or E-Wallets
Once you click on the Make Payment button, you have the option to choose from multiple payment methods such as credit cards, debit cards, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and Boost.
Step 6: Check Your Booking Details After Payment
You are almost done! Once the payment is successful, you will see the details of your booking (it will say confirmed on the side). These details will be sent to your email as well.
Step 7: It’s Boarding Time!
It is time to make your way to JB! Make sure you bring your passport as this acts as your physical KTM ticket. There is no need for a physical copy of the booking details.
